David Duggan Wins NC Marathon

Track & Field assistant coach David Duggan won the North Carolina Marathon last Saturday in High Point. It was Duggan's first marathon win in 12 tries and to make it sweeter, it came in his hometown.

Duggan's time of 2:45:27 was nearly four minutes faster than the nearest competitor and was seven minutes faster than last year's winner. Click here for a recap of the race and to read Duggan's thoughts on his win.
