Sam Cronin Scores First Goal of Professional Career

Former Wake Forest soccer star Sam Cronin found the back of the net for the first time in his professional career in Toronto FC's 2-1 victory over New York on Saturday. Cronin opened the scoring with a rebound goal off a penalty kick in the third minute.

Here are the game stories from The Canadian Press and Toronto FC's official release.

Video of Cronin's first goal is available here. You may notice that the first person to congratulate him is another former Deac, Toronto FC goalkeeper Brian Edwards.
