The 2009 Demon Deacon football roster has been updated on WakeForestSports.com. On the new roster, each of the incoming freshmen have jersey numbers and a handful of veterans have switched their digits. As it's always interesting to see who chose new numbers, below is a look at all of the significant changes for '09.

Kyle Jarrett, 40-43 (Takes over Stanley Arnoux's old number)
Junior Petit-Jean, 37-10 (Safety moves down to take Kevin Patterson's old number)
Shane Popham, 14-37 (Moves into #37 as incoming QB Brendan Cross will share #14 with DB C.J. Washington)
Cyhl Quarles, 28-5 (Continuing trend with Deacon DBs to select small numbers)
Kevin Smith, 91-34 (Dumps traditional DE #91 for Antonio Wilson's old digits)
Jordan Williams, 7-9 (Third jersey number in as many seasons for Jordan...wore #82 as a freshman)
Michael Williams, 24-7 (Like Quarles, goes for a single digit)
